For two manufacturers of wall monitor arms that are installed in healthcare facilities across the world, when it came time to selecting a ball bearing, there was much to consider. In addition to contending with surgical support arms that are continuously being pivoted for positioning purposes, the heavy equipment load for these arms to support had to be addressed. Optimizing the space within a clinical environment was also critical to the requirements, along with a service life of 10+ years.
